The HARC Lab seeks to inform best practices for homelessness services and systems through collaborative research studies with community organizations in Chicago and nationwide. We work to understand challenges and facilitators in service delivery inclusively by gaining perspectives of individuals with lived experience of homelessness, service providers, and administrators. In addition to research, we provide training, program evaluation, and consultation services for organizations; and we engage in grassroots affordable housing advocacy.
The HARC Lab is housed in the Department of Psychology at DePaul University. We are led by Dr. Molly Brown, Associate Professor of Clinical-Community Psychology, alongside an outstanding team of doctoral students. Our team is deeply committed to social justice. We aim to foster a safe and inclusive research and learning environment for all.
