Are Research Assistant positions available?
We welcome undergraduate students and post-baccalaureates who are seeking research experience to join HARC Lab! The availability of Research Assistantship positions depends on our current lab and project needs, so please contact Dr. Molly Brown to inquire if positions are available.
Are there opportunities for compensation?
Opportunities for independent study credits are available to DePaul University students. Grant-funded positions may be available but cannot be guaranteed. In addition, students may work with Dr. Brown to apply for undergraduate research grants through DePaul’s College of Science and Health.
What are the roles and responsibilities of HARC Lab Research Assistants?
Research Assistants provide support to ongoing projects, including transcription, data analysis, literature searches, and IRB paperwork. Research Assistants are encouraged to attend and participate in regular lab meetings. We endeavor to provide enriching research experiences to volunteers who are preparing for graduate school. As such, our Research Assistants frequently participate in conference presentations and scholarly publications.
